NEW DELHI: Delhi leader minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday made a wonder seek advice from to the delivery authority place of work in Burari and after receiving a barrage of court cases he directed the officers involved to decentralising the work completed there and open vehicle fitness check centres across the town through next month.
Accompanied through Delhi delivery minister Kailash Gahlot and senior officers of the dept including delivery commissioner Varsha Joshi, the chief minister met owners of autorickshaws and other business cars and listened to their court cases.
"It was complained that work here gets done quickly through touts otherwise it lingers for months. The fitness test centres (for vehicles) will be opened across the city by next month. I have also sought a list of works done here and we will completely decentralise it," Kejriwal informed reporters.
He advised the officers to make sure that through August 1, as many auto fitness check centres are opened in the town as are required.
"If 5,000 vehicle fitness test centres are required to be opened in the city, it should be opened," the chief minister said.
Learning in regards to the issue confronted through autorickshaw owners in buying and recharging SIM playing cards for GPS, he directed the delivery division officers to make sure that it was made broadly available.
Seeing long queues at the counters of the delivery authority place of work, Kejriwal directed the delivery commissioner to make wonder seek advice from as soon as a week and seek feedback from no less than 50 other people.
"There is no need for long queues. Corrupt officers will be punished and the work done here will be decentralised," he said and directed delivery division officers to provide him a listing including identify, deal with and the work for which people visited the delivery division place of work Burari in the ultimate 10 days.
