THANE: Police arrested a person who mimicked the voice of famend doctors and cheated dozen of pros including Jewellers, chemists and many others. The police stated, the accused Manish Ambekar (40) a real property agent has been arrested for dishonest other people. A total booty of Rs 7 lakh including gold adorns value Rs five.80 lakhs were seized from him.
Ambekar, earlier worked at Crawford marketplace and used the similar trick for small amounts Rs 300-Rs 1,000, however as he got the confidence, he began the usage of the trick on bigger and richer ones in the town.
