Vadodara: A boy from a school in Varachha in Surat died on the Dev Dam eco-tourism centre on Saturday afternoon after a stone fell on him. The boy had climbed the huge stone to click on photos.
According to an accidental loss of life file registered by means of the Halol rural police, whilst looking to get down from the stone the boy Milan Pandya (15) had stepped on the iron bars wound round it. When he jumped down, the stone too fell on him badly injuring him.
Sources said that the boy used to be rushed to the Halol Referral Hospital, however he used to be declared useless there. The boy used to be part of a group of students from the Suman High School located in the Varachha space of the town. He used to be additionally a resident of the Varachha space.
