NAGPUR: Yashodhara Nagar police on Sunday produced Laxmibai Inawati (35) and her father Dasarath Maraskolhe, accused in the murder of the former’s husband in courtroom and procured their PCR till Thursday. The duo had allegedly killed the woman’s husband on Friday night and tried to mislead the police through posing it as an unintentional loss of life.
On Friday night, Laxmibai had got into a struggle with her husband Indarlal over his ingesting addiction, and in a are compatible of anger had thrashed him to loss of life with a brick. The duo had then moved the frame and buried it beneath sand.
The duo had later approached the Yashodhara Nagar police station and claimed that Indarlal was once inebriated and a stack of bricks had fallen over him, killing him, upon which the police had registered a case of unintentional loss of life. However, an autopsy later published that Indarlal has suffered serious accidents. During interrogation, the duo broke down and confessed to the murder.
