Surat: Officials of Surat Municipal Corporation’s (SMC) hearth safety and emergency division on Friday sealed 84 shops, hospitals and different establishments located in Shreeji Arcade of Dindoli-Godadara as these puts did not have any form of hearth safety equipment.
The sealed shops include one within the underground basement, 26 on the ground flooring, 21 on the first flooring, 14 in 2d flooring, 8 on the 3rd flooring and 13 on the fourth flooring of the arcade. Besides these, one place of business used to be also sealed a few of the 84 commercial puts.
Chief hearth officer, Basant Ravat stated, “We also discovered three hospitals with indoor patients and ICUs with none safety equipment. We have served them notices to set up hearth safety device and practice the regulations inside a specified time period.”
These hospitals are Shristi Children and General Hospital with ICU, physiotherapy departments; Vasu Prasuti Grih and General Hospital and Shreeji Medicine and Children’s Hospital.
