NEW DELHI: A fireplace broke out at the floor flooring of the AIIMS Trauma Center here on Sunday evening close to one of the crucial operation theatres, the Delhi Fire Services stated.
A decision was gained at 6.13 pm about the incident, following which 12 hearth tenders have been rushed to the spot, leader hearth officer Atul Garg stated.
The hearth broke out at the floor flooring of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences Trauma Center and hearth combating operations are underneath method, he stated.
Hospital resources stated patients had to be shifted to every other ward and others have been evacuated for the reason that smoke engulfed the ground flooring of the building.
The electricity provide has been stopped within the building for now and short circuit is suspected to be the rationale in the back of the incident, they stated.
