Bengaluru cab drivers stay away from strike

BENGALURU: While Mumbai-based cab drivers' associations have introduced a national protest on Monday in opposition to Ola and Uber, most taxi drivers in Bengaluru have determined now not to join the protest.
The taxi union wing of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is not easy cab aggregators to boost incentives, salaries and reinstate drivers with low ranking.

Tanveer Pasha, president of Uber, TaxiForSure and Ola (UTO) drivers and homeowners affiliation, said, “Our drivers are struggling because of low wages so we will’t find the money for to head with out paintings even for a day. There was no reaction from cab aggregators or the government after our final 12 months's protest.”

However, many commuters in Bengaluru bitch that there are much less cabs in the town throughout peak hours on Monday. There are also complaints about surge pricing imposed by cab aggregators.

Ola and Uber were unavailable for remark.

Pasha reasons that fewer selection of cabs on Monday in the town was as a result of many drivers are away in their local villages for Ugadi.
