MANGALURU: Upset with family problems, a lady killed her infant ahead of hanging herself. The shocking incident came about at Nalkooru village in Subrahmanya on Saturday morning.
The woman is known as Gopi. She was once 30. Police mentioned ahead of killing herself, Gopi hung her two-and-had-year-old daughter Manvitha to a ceiling at their residence. Police mentioned they suspect harassment through husband. However, the case is but to be investigated.
The district police at the Subrahmanya station have registered a case in line with a criticism filed through Narayan Maniyani, Gopi’s brother.
Gopi was once married to Yathindra, 33, a mason, while she was once operating as a coolie.
