DEHRADUN: Heavy blizzard in Chakrata of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand has left many vacationers trapped of their hotels, some for over per week.
As per the file, 4 vacationers from Delhi interesting to the administration to rescue them from their hotel at Lokhandi where they've been trapped for past 8 days surfaced on social media on Monday.
Deepshikha Rawat, disaster control officer of Dehradun, stated, "I have spoken to the tourists and they are safe at the hotels. There is heavy snow on the approach road as a result of which hey are not able to leave. However, vehicle movement is expected to be restored by Tuesday."
