NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has made elaborate site visitors arrangements for parking of cars, pedestrian motion and protection of persons in and around the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground right here, which can host an IPL T-20 cricket match on Thursday, officers stated. The match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will be performed at the floor right here between 8pm 11.30pm.
"Limited parking is available for labelled vehicles in the proximity of the stadium and no vehicles would be allowed to be parked on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Flyover (both the carriageways) on the day of the match," a site visitors advisory stated.
Vehicles parked on those roads might be towed away and prosecuted as in step with regulation, the advisory added.
For unlabelled cars, 'park and journey' facility has been created at Mata Sundari Parking, Shanti Van Parking and below Velodrome Road, it stated.
All buses will start their services two hours sooner than the match and will continue till one hour after the start of the match. The bus carrier from the stadium to their respective destinations will start once the sport ends and will continue for an hour after the match ends, a senior site visitors officer stated.
Those the use of taxi programs and other taxis should use the carrier lane on Ring Road between IP Flyover and Rajghat Crossing for drop and pick-up, he stated.
Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road, JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road or Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
'U' flip at Delhi Gate is authorized. Entry to parking so much P1, P3 and P4 might be from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg only, near the petrol pump, the officer added.
There will be diversion of site visitors for one-and-half hours after conclusion of the match.
No site visitors might be allowed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate to JLN Marg, from Daryaganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road, the advisory said, inquiring for people to keep away from those roads from 4pm to 11.30 pm on Thursday.
The advisory mandates display of vehicle parking label on windscreen.
Vehicle quantity will have to be written on the parking label. Those who don't display parking label with automobile quantity may not be allowed within the proximity of the stadium, the remark learn.
