LUCKNOW: Examinations of all undergraduate professional classes of Lucknow University and its related faculties will be in response to multiple selection questions (MCQs) from the following session. The even semester examinations may have MCQ primarily based questions, whilst the old format will proceed within the ordinary semesters.
Professional classes the place MCQ gadget is being presented include all control, law, fine arts and self-finance classes like mass communication. The new pattern would be taken up via round 1,000 scholars of LU and six,000 scholars of its related faculties.
LU had presented MCQ gadget in regular undergraduate classes like BA, BSc and BCom in December closing year as a part of the examination reforms.
"The decision will bring uniformity in the examination pattern and save university's resources in conducting the examinations. With the new system in place, separate examinations will not be held for students of professional courses who had to answer theoretical questions till now," said LU vice-chancellor SP Singh.
