Anti-dump site protest: Villagers boycott meeting with Noida DM

NOIDA: A gathering known as via district magistrate B N Singh in the presence of authority officials and SSP Ajay Pal Sharma to address issues of those arrested on Monday June four whilst protesting towards the field 123 dump website used to be boycotted via villagers of Parthala, Garhi Chaukhandi, Sorkha, Sarfabad, Behlolpur and more.
Villagers below newly formed "Kooda Ghar Virodh Sangharsh Samiti" amassed at Parthala neighborhood centre early Thursday morning and decided to boycott the assembly with DM announcing they've not received the DM's letter and extra maintained that they will not sign any letter which prohibits them to forestall their protest towards sector 123 dump website. They are prepared to let their relations remain in prison announcing they are strong to withhold the battle.

"We have boycotted the assembly with DM today as we intend to carry out non violent protest towards the field 123 dump website,” Subey Yadav from village Parthala told TOI on the neighborhood centre assembly.

Jaiveer Yadav from village Behlolpur close to FNG hall added that they will continue their protest despite their relations languishing in prison. “My more youthful brother Omveer is in prison as he used to be arrested on Monday. I draw strength from him when he told me not to give-in via signing any letter of consent towards keeping protest towards the dump website. If he can remain in prison and cross on hunger strike for wrongful detention, we will be able to without a doubt not let him down. Besides its matter of our daily life getting affected if this dump website comes up. We is not going to let that happen,” stated Yadav.

District Magistrate B N Singh stated that he had known as a gathering with the residents, but they did not turn up. “A group of residents had protested towards the improvement paintings, which is based on the NGT order. We decided to name a gathering and speak about the issue. They did not come for the assembly. We will be sure the improvement paintings is non violent and nobody takes legislation and order in their very own fingers,” he stated.


Udal Yadav who helmed the panchayat at Parthala neighborhood centre on Thursday maintained that the protest will continue until the dumping ground paintings is stopped and their relations are released unconditionally from prison.


Meanwhile residents of prime rise apartments planned to continue their night protest when they go back from paintings and will also continue with signature marketing campaign to ship to MLA Pankaj Singh as asked via him to put ahead to MP Mahesh Sharma and different government. “We had been asked to gather signatures towards the dump website via MLA Pankaj Sharma who has promised to take it up with higher officials and birthday party leaders like MP Mahesh Sharma,” stated Amarjeet Rathore from Gaur town, Noida extension.


Anoopam Oberoi from Homes 121 also maintained no protest on the dump website on Thursday until the residents’ collective finalise the plan on take their protest ahead in a more organised and coherent method to have lasting affect.


Meanwhile residents from Gaur town in Noida extension proceeded with 'thali bajao, sarkar jagao' (wake the federal government via kitchen utensils) marketing campaign overdue Thursday night. "In continuation to our protest towards the development of rubbish dumpyard at sector 123 (which is simply around 2 km from Kisaan chowk) we assembled at nine:00 pm close to primary gate of Gaur City and proceeded with our non violent protest from Gaur City gate to Kisaan Chowk. The theme of today’s protest is awaken the dozing government and Noida Authority. For this we asked residents to convey kitchen utensils equivalent to plates, spoons or puja bells," stated Amarjeet Rathore resident of Gaur City in Noida extension.
