Ranchi: Railway Childline on Monday night rescued 11 minors, together with 10 ladies, heading to Delhi looking for jobs on Sampark Kranti Express from Ranchi railway station. While the girls hailed from Simdega, Ranchi, Khunti and West Singhbhum, a minor boy claiming to be from Assam was once also at the train.
Ranchi Railway Childline coordinator Rajeev Ranjan stated: “We found those children at the train right through our outreach activities at around 11.30pm on Monday night. Some of them have been by myself, but two claimed to have been accompanied via some far away relative.” This outreach programme was once a joint effort of Railway Childline and Railway Police Force.

The kids have been in an instant taken off the train as they weren't beneath parental supervision. “They have been scattered around the train. We apprehended them at Ranchi station after we smelt foul play. The ladies who claimed to be travelling with a relative also couldn’t establish the individual once we asked them to do so,” Ranjan added.


Sampark Kranti Express is likely one of the 12 known trains to New Delhi utilized by traffickers, stated an RPF reliable. On Tuesday, all 11 kids have been produced earlier than the Child Welfare Committee in Ranchi.
