AMARAVATI: In a big spice up for Pawan Kalyan's Janasena party, actor Naga Babu joined the party on Wednesday.
Naga Babu, who is also the brother of Pawan Kalyan, is likely to contest from Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat. The reliable announcement for that is anticipated to be made in a while.
Janasena had released its fourth record of applicants on Tuesday.
The party had released its first record of applicants for the following Lok Sabha and Assembly elections on March 14.
The Election Commission of India on Sunday announced that Andhra Pradesh will move to polls in one section on April 11. Both the Lok Sabha and legislative assembly polls will likely be held in the state concurrently.
The state assembly has 175 seats while Parliamentary elections will likely be held across 25 seats. Notably, this would be the first assembly elections in the region post-bifurcation.
