Allahabad: The power department in Sangam City has appealed to other folks not to perform Holika Dahan with reference to transformers and overhead electrical energy cables and now not throw wet clothes on wires as it should lead to ppower snags.
Similarly, the Prayagraj municipal company has also appealed not to spoil the newly-constructed roads and saplings planted in mid of the roads.

Around 350 Holika have been arranged at various localities of town, many of that are underneath high-tension wires and close to transformers.


“We have appealed to other folks to refrain from lights Holika with reference to transformers and electrical cables given the chances of accident, besides, the dept has also steered revellers to not throw wet clothes on overhead cables”, said govt engineer Rambagh, Balakram.


City mayor Abhilasha Gupta said, “We have appealed to the hundreds to carefully mild Holika by means of placing a layer of bricks in order that it does now not injury the newly-constructed roads”. She has also appealed to the denizens for refraining from the usage of polythene in holika and different places.


“Sale of natural colors has gone up this year as most of the people go for setting friendly and protected Holi celebrations now”, said Ram Lal Kerservani, some other wholesaler of town.
