AHMEDABAD: A Ghatlodia resident, who runs pharmaceutical companies in Vijapur and Ankaleshwar, on Monday filed a grievance with police declaring that a faux CID (crime) authentic threatened him of dire penalties alleging that he had cheated several other people of Rs 52 lakh.
Harshad Bhikha Patel (54), a resident of Shakuntal Bungalows in Bhuyangdev on Sola Road in Ghatlodia, mentioned earlier than Ghatlodia police that a suspicious person visited his old place of abode in Arjun Tower and enquired about Harshad.
The complainant's neighbour, Chandu Patel, referred to as up Harshad and stated that the individual was once asking about him. The person instructed Chandu that he's a CID (crime) authentic and had come there to investigate a cheating scam of Rs 52 lakh during which Harshad is an accused, mentioned the FIR.
Harshad, then, rushed to his old home and requested Shah to turn him CCTV footages. "When I saw those CCTV footages, I saw the man, who impersonated as CID official. I talked about this with my friend, Gopal Shah, who recognized the man as Bharat Bharwad and obtained his number from someone," stated the FIR.
When Harshad referred to as up the man and requested in regards to the case he was once talking about, Bharwad were given offended and threatened him with dire penalties. He additionally demanded Rs 52 lakh from him.
