PUNE: The presence of his birthday celebration leaders, and the pressure of constructing his first marketing campaign speech, seemed to have overwhelmed younger Parth Pawar, NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s grand-nephew and the birthday celebration’s candidate from Maval constituency, on Sunday .
During his three-minute speech at Pimpri Chinchwad, he faltered several times and mispronounced several Marathi words. Parth, 29, had let the audience in on his anxiousness even prior to he started. “This is my first speech ever, and that too in entrance of Saheb (Sharad Pawar) and Dada (Ajit Pawar). Please be lenient if there are any mistakes in my speech,” he mentioned.
He later informed TOI, “More than the crowd, it was the pressure of handing over the speech in entrance of Sharad Pawar and my father Ajit Pawar. There had been only some words right here and there and anyone would have felt the pressure prior to the 2 veterans... I don’t think birthday celebration workers are disenchanted.”
Party workers on the venue weren’t amused. “The pronunciation of many Marathi words was not correct. It gave the impression of he had not achieved his homework,” mentioned one.
