Thane: Hotelier attacked over money dispute

KALYAN: A hotelier was once allegedly attacked with a knife over a financial dispute through two individuals, together with the vice-president of Team Omie Kalani (TOK) birthday celebration in Ulhasnagar. Central police have registered a case against two individuals, together with Roshan Makhija, who's vice-president of TOK birthday celebration.

Makhija claimed he have been falsely implicated through Pawan Gupta, as on the time of the attack discussed through the complainant in the FIR, he was once partying with members of the family at a resort. The sufferer's circle of relatives blamed police for running under political power to save lots of Makhija. They said police, as an alternative of registering a case under section 307 (attempt to murder), booked the accused most effective under section 326 (grevious accidents) of IPC.


Police said Gupta operates a resort close to Gol Maidan, and few months previous, he had taken a loan from Makhija and paid again part of it. Later, the duo had a dispute over the pending quantity. Gupta alleged in his criticism that he was once attacked through Makhija and someone else with a knife. Gupta, admitted to Bhosale sanatorium for treatment, needed to take 60 stitches on his frame.
