RAMGARH: Communist Party of India (CPI) state secretary Bhubneshwar Prasad Mehta on Tuesday criticised Congress and mentioned BJP and the Grand Old Party are sponsored through large corporates. “Our party lends a robust voice to farmers, labourers, deficient, downtrodden and displaced people. This is why the company homes do not want any representatives of Left parties in Parliament,” Mehta, who is contesting from Hazaribag seat, mentioned, including, “It is as a result of passion of company homes that the Left parties were saved out of mahagathbandhan.”
The two-time MP from Hazaribag parliamentary constituency mentioned, “The Left front wanted to be a part of the grand alliance in Jharkhand to defeat communal forces. Unfortunately, Congress didn't allow us to within the alliance.”
Mehta mentioned the Left front will box applicants in 5 Lok Sabha seats, together with Hazaribag, Chatra, Dumka, Koderma and Rajmahal. He added, “Apart from me, Arjun Kumar Dangi from Chatra and Senapati Murmu from Dumka had been fielded as CPI applicants whilst Koderma and Rajmahal seats will likely be contested through CPI-ML and CPM applicants.” The Left has already fielded Rajkumar Yadav on CPI(ML) ticket from Giridih seat.
