Illegal encroachments along rail tracks removed

Ludhiana: Following news of the overall supervisor’s inspection of town railway station subsequent week, the railway safety forces swung into action on Tuesday afternoon through putting off unlawful encroachments alongside the railway tracks on the Ludhiana-Ambala course falling under town limits. A crew of the railway building division had reached the spot to help the protection forces of their job.

Railway Protection Post (Ludhiana) inspector Anil Kumar claimed: “With a view to cleaning the railway land of encroachers and averting any tragic rail accident (like the one which took place in Amritsar ultimate year), a crew of local railway safety forces performed an anti-encroachment power, at the side of an enormous cleanliness power in a one-kilometre stretch on the Ludhiana-Ambala course on Tuesday afternoon, demolishing all unlawful constructions completed through local occupants.”


During the power, railways removed all footpaths built on railway land through local occupants, and closed a number of points alongside the tracks to stop citizens from crossing them. “Moreover, we've got deputed local police officers there during the day to catch indisciplined people no longer paying heed to railway norms, and crossing the tracks n large sunlight without worry of regulation and order,” stated a police legit.


Balbir Singh, in-charge of Government Railway Police (GRP) submit in Ludhiana, stated: “As some citizens encroached on railway land and kept crossing the rail tracks, an enormous power was held today to create consciousness among the people dwelling near the tracks on Ludhiana-Ambala course. The major cause of the power was just to create consciousness about the stern penalties on violators discovered crossing the tracks illegally.”


Ludhiana railway station director stated: “With a view to razing unlawful constructions and cleaning railway land passing on the Ludhiana-Ambala course, an enormous power was completed through railway safety at the side of building division officers.”
