MADIKERI: Five wild elephants, who were given stuck in a farm pond in Palangala village near Virajpet, had been rescued on Wednesday morning.
The panchyderms had been stuck in the pond's slush, which is situated near the home of a local, since closing evening.
Ranjan Tammaih, a local resident, stated out of 5 elephants one is a cub elephant.
The elephants had been rescued after a staff stepped up its efforts.
