Almost six years after former BJP corporator Ritu Tawade from Ghatkopar had proposed a ban on lingerie mannequins in Mumbai as they “show a woman’s body simply for promoting and unnecessarily draw in male consideration”, civic law committee individuals on Monday directed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to take action towards those on municipal roads.
