Greater Noida: A 15-year-old scholar of a Surajpur-based executive college used to be allegedly crushed up with sticks and hit with blunt objects by senior students after he refused to ‘salute’ them in the college. The scholar later approached police together with his family members and lodged a criticism. The police have registered a non-congnizble file in the subject.
According to police, the student remains with his mother and an elder brother in Surajpur the city in Greater Noida. He research in Class X at a government college in the similar locality.
The incident happened at around 12 pm on Friday afternoon. The boy had simply pop out of the school all the way through a practical exam to shop for pencil from a stationery on the main gate of the school. There he used to be intercepted by Sajid and 3 or 4 other boys who attacked him with sticks and blunt objects. He gained injuries on his head while the accused ran away.
According to the brother of the sufferer, the similar boys had intercepted his brother inside the college premises in the morning. They had asked him to the touch their feet as they have been seniors. “The boys have been standing on the gate while my brother used to be entering the school. They stopped him and asked him why he did not offer them ‘salute’ as they have been seniors, to which my brother did not react. Later they asked him to the touch the feet of certainly one of them and when my brother refused, they threatened him of dire consequences,” said the brother.
It used to be the third time in the past two months the similar boys had a quarrel with his brother, he said. “We had even complained to the school fundamental. However, after today’s incident, we decided to head for a police criticism in opposition to the accused,” the brother added
Muneesh Chauhan, station area officer, Surajpur, said a non-cognizable file used to be registered in opposition to the 4 students below sections 323 and 504 of IPC for voluntarily causing hurt and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace.
“After a criticism used to be gained, a medical exam of the sufferer used to be conducted. Based at the findings, we have now booked 4 students who have been known as for wondering. Apart from this, we have now also called up the school control for the details of the accused students,” Chauhan added.
