Greater Noida: Two men had been arrested in Bulandshahr on Monday, days after their widowed sister-in-law alleged that the duo gang-raped her several occasions after her husband’s death.
According to police, probably the most accused is the younger brother of the 21-year-old complainant’s husband, whilst the opposite is the husband of her sister-in-law. The woman’s family said she got married two years in the past, however her husband died in January because of a prolonged sickness. Since then, she used to be being subjected to cruelty and attack through the two brothers-in-law, who also allegedly gang-raped her.
“After the death of my sister’s husband, we asked his family to let her reside with us, however they refused. They didn’t allow us to talk to her for 20 days, saying she is sick. We approached police and controlled to rescue her with their intervention on Thursday,” the woman’s brother said.
Cops said the duo had fled to their native land in Pandavnagar village after the woman filed a police grievance, from the place they had been arrested on Monday night time.
