BHUBANESWAR: Former Union minister Dilip Ray and senior chief Bijoy Mohapatra resigned from BJP on Friday, sparking speculations about a realignment of political forces in Odisha.
" Joining BJP was a mistake. In the initial years, I undertook many political activities. But gradually, and particularly after the Kandhamal by-election in October 2014, I was not involved in party activities," mentioned Mohapatra, who at the side of Ray sent a joint resignation letter to BJP nationwide president Amit Shah.
