Ludhiana: In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the district management will be organising a marathon in Punjab Agricultural University on March 31.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Iqbal Singh Sandhu chairing a evaluate meeting held in this regard on Wednesday mentioned primary purpose of the marathon will be to encourage the residents to workout their right to vote and likewise to teach them about the importance of voting. He mentioned the marathon will be divided in two parts- 5km for ladies and 10km for men.
