COIMBATORE: Education minister Okay A Sengottaiyan on Saturday unveiled plans to provide special training to 4,000 students to arrange them for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). “They might be publish in eight colleges across the state for a 25-day special coaching programme,” he stated.
Speaking after inaugurating newly-built amenities at a women’ upper secondary college at Veerappan Chatram in Erode, he stated a total of 412 NEET coaching centres were set up across the state and their main points can be made public in a couple of days. “A total of 72,000 students had registered on-line for the coaching classes. Of them, 70,419 students were attending the classes. After board exams, we can habits a test and make a selection 4,000 of them for the special coaching to be held in eight colleges across the state. They might be given loose accommodation and food,” Sengottaiyan stated.
The minister stated the state has disbursed a handbook among the Class X and XII students to assist them choose their additional path of research. “Using the handbook, Class X students can choose the gang they want to take up for upper secondary and Class XII students can choose the college and field they want to pursue. This will assist them get good technical schooling,” he added.
