NEW DELHI: The BJP parliamentary party will meet at the party's new headquarters right here on Friday and the meeting will be attended via Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and others senior leaders.
BJP parliamentary party secretary Bala Subrahmanyam Kamarsu, in a message, knowledgeable its MPs in regards to the meeting, the primary assembly of its MPs in its new workplace at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. The night meeting will be followed via a dinner.
The meeting comes amid little sign of a thaw within the deadlock that has marred the second one leg of Parliament's Budget Session, which began on March 5 and has seen relentless protests via opposition parties over various issues.
The din has ended in adjournment of both Houses of Parliament daily with out transacting any critical industry. The government has, however, controlled to get a couple of bills passed without any debate amid the din.
The meeting may also be the primary after the party suffered reverses in Lok Sabha bypolls in Uttar Pradesh.
It had lost bypolls to three Lok Sabha seats, together with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's bastion of Gorakhpur.
