MYSURU: Banks and ATMs are dealing with a disaster of money here. Though main ATMs in Mysuru are provided with Rs 3 crore day by day, through night customers come face-to-face with "no-cash" forums.
Mysuru is dealing with the same state of affairs as demonetisation, with many of the ATMs showing 'no-cash' forums.
For the remaining two months, some customers have been taking flight coins amounting to Rs 5-10 lakh at a time in some banks.
However, they are not related to trade purpose, reason why being, if they're, the money will have to return to banks, said a financial institution officer.
The RBI has also no longer distributed new notes to the banks - particularly, the distribution of Rs 2,000 notes is low, so, many of the banks are dealing with coins issue.
If there are sufficient Rs 2,000 notes, Rs 40 lakh can be loaded into the ATM, however whilst loading Rs 500, 200 and 100 notes, it's going to scale back to Rs 20 lakh, said the financial institution officer.
