TRICHY: A 23-year-old construction worker on Sunday surrendered sooner than the Karambakudi police in Pudukottai with the severed head of his mother. He had allegedly beheaded the 50-year-old girl in a fit of rage following an argument over a assets dispute on Sunday morning, police mentioned. Police arrested the man and feature begun an investigation.
The accused used to be known as T Anand — the fourth son of Thangaraj and T Thilagarani of Maravanpatti village close to Karambakudi taluk in Pudukkottai district.
