NEW DELHI: The craving for alcohol led a painter to allegedly stab a 30-year-old guy 14 times when the latter resisted a robbery bid in south east Delhi’s Okhla. The sufferer used to be stabbed time and again till he dropped subconscious for pulling on the accused’s hair for stealing his telephone.

Agitated, he stabbed Chauhan three times in his abdomen, but even that did not deter him. Then he indiscriminately stabbed him on all parts of his body, till Chauhan collapsed subconscious.
