NEW DELHI: A 37-year-old auto-rickshaw driver killed his wife and tried to commit suicide however failed in his strive in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar, the police stated on Saturday.
The accused, Umesh, was once semi-conscious when he told police that there have been some private issues between him and his wife Jyoti, 26, for the final 5 years, since the time they got married.
They had a controversy on Friday morning and then he strangulated Jyoti, who was once a housewife, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya stated.
Umesh then tried suicide by placing however failed. In the second strive, he lower his wrists and failed in that as neatly.
"Legal action will be taken after the post-mortem report comes," the police officer stated.
