GREATER NOIDA: An eight-year-old lady observing TV had an in depth shave on Monday as an enormous bite of concrete fell off the ceiling a couple of metres away at Ajnara Daffodil society in Sector 137.
Diya was on my own at house and her mom had long gone to the local market around noon. Her mom Richa Srivastava rushed again when her daughter called her up to tell what had happened. Diya’s father, a Supreme Court attorney, was away for work.
“When I rushed again, I discovered my daughter crying. The bite of concrete — around 60x60 inches — lay beside her on the flooring. My kid is in trauma,” she stated. The homemaker pointed out that the family had bought the flat two years in the past and paid Rs 6,000 every month as upkeep.
A crew from the society’s upkeep department inspected the bite that had fallen off the ceiling. While Richa claimed the crew had advised her the material used for development was sub-standard, the mission in-charge, Sunil Pathak, refused to simply accept it. “We had offered to ship a pattern of the material to the laboratory. But she didn't allow us to take action,” Pathak stated.
A spokesperson for Ajnara claimed there was a crack in the ceiling. “Had they informed, the management would have repaired it,” he stated.
Manoj Pant, the SHO of Surajpur police station, stated, “A general diary has been lodged beneath IPC Section 427 (mischief). We will planned whether or not an FIR will have to be lodged or now not,” he stated.
