Udhagamandalam: The conductor of the ill-fated executive bus, which plunged into a 200feet gorge close to Manthada on Ooty-Coonoor street on Thursday whilst seeking to overtake every other car, died at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Friday morning.
With this, the demise toll in the coincidence has gone up to 9.
The deceased was known as Prakash, 38. “He died without responding to the treatment at the executive health facility in Coimbatore,” a supply stated.
Meanwhile, the condition of the 2 injured passengers, who have been admitted to CMCH, have been stated to be crucial. In overall, 14 injured are present process treatment at CMCH, whilst 11 are admitted to the government health facility in Ooty.
