NEW DELHI: Equity markets on Tuesday got off to any other damaging opening as Asian cues dragged investor sentiments.
30-share BSE Sensex opened with a minor gain of 18 points however quickly started dropping and had misplaced above 80 points to slide under the 35,000-mark in early trading. The broader 50-share NSE Nifty too was once down greater than 0.20 per cent to check 10,600-levels.
Pharma and auto sector shares have been trailing the most whilst IT and PSU Bank shares have been in the inexperienced.
Reliance, HDFC Bank, Wipro, TCS and SBi shares have been topping the charts on Tuesday morning.
