VARANASI: An Azamgarh resident, going through a sedition case for alleged ties with the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), was once arrested overdue Sunday, when he was once about to board a Sharjah-bound flight at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi. A local court had issued a lookout notice against him.
Faiz, a native of Khudadadpur in Azamgarh district, was once despatched to prison on Monday after a case was once registered against him through Azamgarh police. He was once accused of being a sleeper cell member of an apprehension module in 2001, police mentioned. DIG Azamgarh Vijay Bhushan ordered Azamgarh SP Babloo Kumar to probe position of local cops after it came to gentle Faiz ducked the lookout notice to discuss with Saudi Arabia in 2015-16 and paintings as a tailor.
