KALYAN: A 30-year-old man from Dombivli has been booked for allegedly assaulting his spouse with a cricket bat after she took part in a dance all the way through a cultural tournament at their son’s college.
On January 19, when the woman, Alpa Kalokhe (25), were given home from the serve as, her husband started abusing her for participating within the dance. A few days previous, that they had quarrelled after Alpa had said she wanted to participate within the tournament. Sunil didn't want her to participate.
Last week, all the way through the struggle resumed as Alpa had defied Sunil. During their argument, he took a cricket bat and assaulted Alpa who suffered severe accidents to the top, arms and legs.
The police said Sunil had assaulted Alpa previously. He has been booked, said senior police inspector Rajendra Mungekar.
