TOI trains the highlight on some brave ladies who lead bizarre lives and feature fought to make Kolkata — and the world — a place of hope
Her friendly manner belies the nerves of steel. From refusing to put on a hijab to setting up an all-women soccer group and throwing her weight behind sufferers of domestic violence, this feisty woman has ruffled somewhat a couple of feathers in her conservative Rajabazar locality. Keen to empower ladies who hardly ever had a say around the place she lived, the graduate from Calcutta University began a beef up group called Roshni, a company that strives to guide ladies from darkness to mild.
“From preventing kid marriages to setting up a soccer group for women from the group, Javed is showing find out how to many.
