TIRUPUR: Two males died in two other accidents in Tirupur district on Monday night.
Thanka Thara Naik, 23, who hailed from Odisha and was running in a knitwear unit right here, and his pal P Pavunkumar, 25, of Masco Nagar, had been travelling on a motorbike at the College Road on Monday night. Thanka, who was driving two-wheeler, misplaced control. The two-wheeler skidded, and the duo fell off the two-wheeler and suffered head accidents.
Thanka died at the spot. Pavunkumar was admitted to Tirupur Government Hospital. The Tirupur North police registered a case.
In every other case, A Maheswaran, 37, a native of Sivaganga district, who was staying in Ganapathipalayam close to Palladam, died after a two-wheeler hit him whilst he was crossing the street along with his pal Sonaimuthu on Monday night. Maheswaran was admitted to Tirupur GH.
The Palladam police registered a case.
