HYDERABAD: A 25-year-old girl was once throttled, her body stuffed in a suitcase and dumped in a city drain by her boyfriend vexed with her constant power to marry her. Accused Sunil Kumar (25) is a structural engineer in a city-based corporate and the victim, B Lavanya, was once a system engineer at TCS Synergy Park in Gachibowli.
Lavanya were missing since April 7, but with her phone switched off and circle of relatives not having any main points of her boyfriend, police after all cracked the case the use of her name main points to zero in on Sunil who was once arrested on Saturday night time.
The couple had fallen in love whilst pursuing engineering at CMR College of Engineering and Technology. Both were given jobs and marriage was once at the playing cards too. But the school love tale soon grew to become bitter and Sunil started to steer clear of questions about marriage.
In February, underneath power from Lavanya, he lied to her circle of relatives that he was once able for marriage as he had were given a task in Muscat and asked them to ship her along as he had arranged a task interview for her too, RC Puram inspector P Ramchandra Rao stated.“After Lavanya’s circle of relatives dropped them on the RGI Airport on April four, Sunil instructed her that their flight was once cancelled and checked into the Airport Lodge announcing that they're going to take the next day to come’s flight,” ACP S Ravi Kumar stated.
“Lavanya once more raised the subject of marriage on the resort and an issue broke out between them. Sunil throttled her after which stuffed the body in a suitcase on April 5 night time. That night time he took the body to Sooraram in the city and dumped it in a drain,” the ACP stated, including that it was once concealed in the drain underneath a ramp in front of native faculty so other people did not notice it.
Since Lavanya had instructed her circle of relatives that she would return on April 7, Sunil sent messages from her phone to her sister announcing she had landed in the city after which switched it off. Unable to achieve her, the circle of relatives lodged a missing grievance with the police. The cops after all used name main points to arrest Sunil.
“Based on Sunil’s confession, we recovered the body. He was once produced earlier than a magistrate on Sunday and sent to judicial remand,” the ACP stated.
