Two men held under Kaapa

Thiruvananthapuram: The city police have arrested two men accused in several cases together with try to homicide and assault on ladies below Kaapa for preventive detention. The arrested men have been identified as Unni alias Ratheesh (32), a resident of Chittatumukku at Kadinamkulam and Sunilkumar alias Kanchavu Suni who resides at Estate ward, Nemom.

Ratheesh is an accused in several cases together with homicide try, kidnap and snatching cases. He had previous been put below preventive detention for 6 months in 2014 and for 12 months in 2016. Ratheesh had kidnapped a adolescence soon after he was released in March and tried to homicide him. It was following this incident that DCP R Aditya prepared a report and submitted it to district collector for preventive custody of Ratheesh.

Sunil, who was arrested below Kaapa for the primary time, is an accused in several cases together with homicide try and snatching. His cases come with assault on a person the usage of stone, snatching a gold chain from a person, motorcycle theft following an assault on a adolescence and many different cases.
