NEW DELHI: India opener Shikhar Dhawan is down but undoubtedly no longer out. The flamboyant left-hander continues to train within the gym, in spite of nursing a hairline fracture in his left thumb. Dhawan suffered the injury against Australia and the fracture was once confirmed on Tuesday. His situation can be assessed again someday across the 21st - 23rd of this month. He is still part of the Indian 15 guy squad on the World Cup and the group control can be hoping he's fully have compatibility at least in time for the match vs England on June 30.
In a video shared via Dhawan on his legit Twitter deal with, the 33-year-old will also be seen sweating it out within the gym with a plastered thumb. Along with the video Dhawan also shared a message thanking his lovers for his or her good needs that have been pouring in because the news of his injury broke.

“You could make these situations your nightmare or use it (as) an opportunity to dance back. Thank you for all of the restoration messages from everybody,” Dhawan wrote alongside the video.
Earlier Indian assistant trainer Sanjay Bangar had said, “We don’t want to rule out a precious player like Dhawan"
India's next match is vs Pakistan on June 16 (Sunday) after which they play Afghanistan on June 22.
