COIMBATORE: A lady sub-inspector from the city has penned a guide on parenting and ethical consciousness. Prabavathi Sukumar's 'Iniyavai Irupathu' (Sweet 20), a choice of 20 short tales printed by way of Vijaya Publications, used to be released at a public match presided by way of superintendent of police Pa Moorthy on Friday.
Prabavathi, a native of Pollachi, is an active speaker-cum-adviser on problems touching on parenting, besides being at the record of the top-performing law enforcement officials in the city.
The tales are in response to her enjoy as a police officer for three many years, Prabavathi advised TOI. "I have tried to highlight the values of truth, honesty and self-confidence," she said.
Prabavathi has been visiting many government and personal colleges to take particular classes for students and oldsters. "Many families are facing lot of problems and I am creating awareness on parental care and child care. I have 38 years of experience in police department and I learnt a lot about the society. I took lessons from real life and penned the book to make our children's future bright," she added.
The guide, sold for Rs 60, is available in leading guide stores around the city.
