Sanitation staff go on strike

GURUGRAM: Sanitation employees persevered their protest for the second one consecutive day on Friday, challenging regularisation of their products and services, mounted minimum wages, safety equipment and compensation in case of any accident on accountability. Around 300 employees, who accrued in front of the outdated MCG place of business, additionally demanded better working stipulations, common clinical check-ups, ESI and PF advantages for all sanitation employees.

Mayor Madhu Azad mentioned, "We have forwarded their demands to the state government."
