KANPUR: Sixteen faculty kids had been injured, 3 of them critically, on Thursday when a truck rammed a college van in dense fog in Unnao, police said. The 3 critically injured students had been rushed to Trauma Centre in Lucknow whilst thirteen kids had been taken to Purwa neighborhood well being centre.
"While we were crossing the highway, we heard a lound bang. We rushed to the spot and rescued some children. Most of them were rushed to the nearest CHC for treatment," said Manoj Singh, a neighborhood.
The truck was looking to overtake the varsity van when it hit the vehicle. Dense fog on highway led to the accident, said police.
