Parents protest against students’ ill-treatment

Pune: The folks of as many as 35 scholars admitted to the National English School in Sangavi, below the Right to Education quota, have submitted a complaint to the main education place of business of the state division alleging ill-treatment through the establishment.
According to the fogeys, the scholars in question are made to take a seat one after the other in classrooms. Parents have also said that the youngsters were not allowed to go to the school playground all through lunch breaks or participate in events held on Republic Day. Further, the scholars were not proven their results in addition to exam papers.

AAP spokesperson Mukund Kirdat mentioned, “The college is blatantly violating RTE regulations and regulations. Discriminating towards the beneficiaries is not proper. Strict action is required immediately through education division.”


When contacted, chairman of National English School Dominic Lobo claimed that the allegations made through the fogeys had been completely false. Lobo said, “We do not permit any scholars to go to the playground all through lunch breaks, depart alone RTE scholars. I do not consider any of the allegations made through the fogeys.”


Lobo mentioned that 10 extra RTE beneficiary scholars can be added within the next instructional 12 months. “We have now not received the associated fee reimbursement from the state government as promised since 2013. I've been bearing the expenses of the youngsters a lot of these years. Henceforth, it will be unimaginable to carry on through meting out money for his or her education from my very own pocket. Meanwhile, deputy education officer Bajarang Awari, affirmed that he had received a written complaint towards the school from AAP members. “We have referred to as the school and spoken to Mr Lobo. However, we were not satisfied with the solutions equipped over the telephone. A staff of education officials can be sent for inquiry on Monday.”
