26,000 students to take SSLC exams in Shivamogga

SHIVAMOGGA: The district management has adopted strict and new measures to make sure clean conduct of SSLC tests at 82 centres unfold over six taluks of the district.

As many as 25,934 scholars will write the exam scheduled from March 23 till April 6. The selection of girls and boys stands at 11,578 and 14,356, respectively. With 24, Shivamogga has the best selection of centres, following by way of Sorab (7).


According to DDPI Muchhado, the centres have not been labeled as delicate and hypersensitive, but were fitted with CCTV cameras to avoid malpractice. Section 144 has been clamped in 200m radius around the centres. A mobile squad can also be on the prowl to test illegal activities.


“The management has issued identity slips of various colours to room supervisors, boys doling out water, and other exam team of workers to spot persons involved within the exam responsibility,” he added.


KSRTC will ply buses providing free journeys to the applicants to the centres. The facility is predicted to profit rural scholars dwelling in far-off puts from the centres.
