BENGALURU: A foot bridge over a hurricane water drain connecting Isro Colony slum with Cambridge Layout, east Bengaluru, collapsed on Tuesday, marooning about 4,000 other people dwelling in about 450 tenements and shacks. The metal bridge — three.5ft in width and 52feet in period and the only manner out of the slum — collapsed underneath the weight of an election campaign birthday celebration that had visited to hunt votes.
