MANGALURU: While BJP employees celebrated in the city after B S Yeddyurappa was sworn-in as chief minister, Congress held protest close to the Mahatma Gandhi statue close to Town Hall in the city on Thursday.

When Congress and JD(S) approached with magic numbers, the Governor did not permit it and invited BJP to form the government. It looks as if there's no worth for democracy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is appearing like a dictator. With this development, we ponder whether democracy will continue to exist on this nation or no longer. People need to decide about it,” he added.
