CHANDIGARH: Light to average rains lashed a few parts of Punjab and Haryana, together with Chandigarh, on Tuesday following which the maximum temperature registered a pointy fall.
Chandigarh gained rains in the afternoon and the maximum temperature right here settled at 34.5 degrees Celsius, down four notches in opposition to standard, the Meteorological (MeT) Department record said.
Among different places to be lashed by rains in the two states integrated Ambala, Panchkula, Mohali and Patiala. Ambala in Haryana recorded a most temperature of 34.7 degrees Celsius, down three notches in opposition to standard limits, whilst Bhiwani registered a high of 33.9 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the MeT has forecast that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds are most probably at isolated places till the next day in Haryana and Punjab.
